Mrs Wooferton's Dog Walking and Pet Sitting was founded in 2013 by Jennifer Ridgway, an avid animal lover and Mother to five rescues: Razorclaw, the Siamese; Natalya, the House Panther; Sasha, the Dilute Tortie; Ashley, the tripawd Snowshoe and puppy Ginger the Rottie mix. Jennifer named her business after her precious dog, Lady Wooferton.
Through Jennifer's rewarding volunteer work with Barrio Dogs she was introduced to Lady in the Spring of 2013 and immediately fell in love with her. Lady had been rescued in late 2012 by a caring HPD officer, saving her from continued suffering on the streets in Houston's East End. Soon after being rescued Lady was diagnosed with bone cancer and was patiently waiting in boarding for a medical foster.
