As far as I can remember I have always been interested in healthcare and medicine. I remember being fascinated when I first learned how muscles worked and how these magnificent machines we call our bodies functioned. I knew at a young age I was going to work with people and their health; I just wasn't exactly sure in what capacity.

Not being intrigued at all with the standard approach of medicine and finding a "quick fix" for the symptom rather then removing the cause, I searched for a more natural and preventative method of treating dysfunction. I also desired to work closely with patients and to treat the entire person, thus having an impact on people's lives and not just their pain.
