THE TANNER FAMILY has lived and worked in the Sierra Foothills since the mid 1800s. Our handcrafted, estate grown, small production wines come from our 32-acre vineyard in Vallecito, just outside the scenic gold rush town of Murphys, California. Come to our tasting room at 435 Main Street in Murphys to enjoy the wines we love to make and share with friends.

Wine Grapes

At Tanner Vineyards, we produce premium quality wine grapes by using traditional practices and lavishing care on our vineyard and vines. Our trellis system is a modified quadrilateral lyre system for optimum sunlight exposure and air movement. Fruiting wires are set at 48 high to maximize air flow, minimize frost risk, and to accommodate hand-harvesting.
