At Ascensions we practice a "therapy without walls" approach in which we see no boundaries in providing the best psychological care possible.
This means that we provide a variety of services not just to children and adults suffering from serious emotional, behavioral and/or mental disorders, but to their entire family unit; we believe that payment should never be a barrier to healthy functioning so we offer our services free of charge to individuals in need; and we deliver our services in a variety of settings including, our Anacostia-based office, local public schools, workplaces, churches, other community agencies, and virtually.

Dr. Streeter is a Gottman's Certified Couples Therapist, certified as an expert in the couples therapy method developed by Dr. John and Julie Gottman based on 40 years of couples research focused on the predictors of demise and success in relationships.
