Dr. Armin Aliefendic grew up in Garland, TX and was a patient of Dr. Ousley! In fact, he has worked at Just for Kids since he was 15 years old! He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, but quickly realized he missed working with kids. Dr. Armin received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry.

While we are committed to giving your child the best dental care available, it is important for you to know approximately what the cost will be. We will give you an estimate based on the treatment prescribed by the Dentist. Remember this is an estimate only. Occasionally, during the course of treatment, other procedures may become necessary.

Our office, as well as the The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) all recommend establishing a "Dental Home" for your child by one year of age. Children who have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care.

Some children are given nitrous oxide/oxygen, or what you may know as laughing gas, to relax them for their dental treatment. Nitrous oxide/oxygen is a blend of two gases, oxygen and nitrous oxide. Nitrous oxide/oxygen is given through a small breathing mask which is placed over the child's nose, allowing them to relax, but without putting them to sleep.
