My wife and I got custom tuxes made for my sisters wedding last year and it was one of the best decisions weve ever made. They fit so beautifully and were 100% worth the investment. Honestly I dont think they couldve been made any better or fit our personalities and styles more. The consultation process was easy and pressure-free. We were given a breadth of fabrics and styles to choose from and never felt a need to compromise what we wanted. The Tailory New York, Silke Weil and staff provided my wife and I with Stellar customer service, patience, originality, and creative ideas. They are LGBTQ+ friendly and extremely considerate of our crazy schedules, stress levels, and excitement for our wedding. My suit makes me feel like one million dollars. After graduating Harvard my mother brought me to The Tailory as a gift. She has been getting suits from them for years and I she always promised that I could have one too. I never knew a suit could bring me so much joy. I always looked forward to seeing Silke and Shao again for my fittings and a delicious martini made by Shao the founder (Shao!!!). What a delight. I had a stellar experience with The Tailory through their mobile pop up in DC. I greatly appreciated their guidance on fabric choice and suit details (lapel shape, venting, shoulder pads). I also felt that they had a relatively transparent communication style - despite small hiccups in timing of the suit delivery and the fact that they did not come back to DC for follow-up fittings. All in all, the suit turned out beautifully - and I got so, so many compliments on it! I would recommend The Tailory and their services for anyone looking for a unique, custom suit.
