About Us
Report
The Rhythm & Rhyme Childcare Center philosophy is based on the knowledge that children will develop emotionally, cognitively and creatively, through child-initiated activities, hands-on experiences and family-teacher partnerships. Positive, nurturing interaction with adults and children will foster and enrich their social skills.
Programs
Report
Each credentialed head teacher prepares lessons within thematic weeks to foster an experiential learning environment which will entice and enrich the young minds of our students. We use the Creative Curriculum to guide us in developmentally appropriate practices, as well as evaluate the progress of our students for parent / teacher confrences.
Infant Care
Report
Our infant program allows individual families to set the routine based upon the needs and unique differences of each child. Our infants have primary caregivers that will work their days around the schedule of those for whom they care. We will ensure the child's basic needs, such as diapering, eating, and napping are met, and we will go beyond that.
18 Month-2 Year Old Toddler Preschool
Report
Our staff understands that toddlers learn with their whole bodies. They learn more by doing than by being told. Toddlers discover the world on a physical level, so it is expected that they prefer walking, climbing, carrying objects, dumping or dropping objects over sitting, picking up toys or playing only in a designated space.
3 Year Old Preschool
Report
In our three year old pre-k program children are transitioning from being toddlers, and preparing to enter an early childhood education environment. We have a young three year old room to accommodate this transition. A lot changes in a year, so we also have an older three year old room for the children to prepare for their transition into our prekindergarten program.
