Dear CCS Staff, I wanted to express my utmost appreciated and severe thanks for the life skills I was taught during. CCS is very proud of being able to serve and make a difference in our community and those affected by substance abuse for 40 years. CCS was established in 1970 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization for the treatment of alcohol and drug abuse.

CCS is licensed by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health, and governed by a. CCS's Adolescent Treatment Center In addition to providing best practice guidelines and using the most current treatment approaches available, CCS operates an accredited Category I school licensed by the State ofTennessee.

CCS advocates for best practices, encourages professional development, and maximizes collaboration, among individuals and organizations, that serve people affected by co-occurring disorders involving substance abuse and mental health issues.

We develop, educate and provide services without discrimination to children, adolescents and adults with substance abuse or co-occurring issues which threaten the quality of life for the individual, the family and/or the community.CCS uses a person-centered approach, utilizing a team of professionals who understand and care about each individual with addiction and/or co-occurring disorders.

Treatment Services

Individuals are screened to determine what type of treatment may be suitable to treat the needs of the consumer. An evaluation/assessment is completed to determine the extent of any alcohol or other drug use, co-occurring disorders, and medical problems. Referrals may be required to ensure all disorders are addressed properly.

Comprehensive Community Services has a well-trained and dedicated staff that is there for you when you need help. Beyond holding advanced degrees and licensure, continuing education is required for all staff members which helps us keep abreast of the latest developments. These high standards will ensure that you get compassionate care that makes a difference.
Admission Information

The CCS Residential Treatment center is located in Kingsport, TN. CCS Outpatient Treatment Facilities are located in Kingsport, Bristol and Greeneville. Person-centered treatment programs are offered at all locations to men, women, and adolescents. Treatment length of stay varies with each individual and is determined by using the criteria from the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Level of Care.
