The Fountain Inn is located in Newcastle Wyoming and is nestled on the edge of the Black Hills National Forest. Our 60 room hotel has been recently updated offering guest amenities such as: a scenic fishing pond, picnic areas, an outdoor pool, and an on-site restaurant and lounge. We were apprehensive about staying here with these ratings but they had availability when we needed it for opening day hunting season.
The hotel is not modern or luxurious but we found it clean, comfortable, and quiet. We slept well and the hot shower felt good after a day in the field. The towels were not as large as the ones in the Hiltons I normally stay at but they were as soft. This location gave us what we needed and what was provided was excellent for the priced.

Location of an annual High School Rodeo and a Professional Rodeo in May, the world famous Perino Horse Sale the first Saturday in June and Weston County Fair & Rodeo in August. One of the world's premier archaeological sites where up to 20,000 bison were trapped by Plains Indians.
