Comprehensive Eye Exams
Report
At Tippett EyeCare, we strive to provide comprehensive, primary eye care for the whole family. Preventative and routine eye exams are important to maintaining good eye health. Often, eye and vision problems do not have obvious symptoms or signs, but are easily diagnosed by a licensed optometrist. By diagnosing eye and vision conditions early on, our optometrist is able provide treatment options and in many cases restore or prevent vision loss.
Adult Eye Exams
Report
Glaucoma, cataracts, and age-related macular degeneration are just a few of the common eye diseases which affect older patients. Even if your vision is fine, annual eye health exams can detect eye and systemic diseases in the early stages when it is easier to prevent vision loss. Help maintain quality of life with good eye care.
Pediatric Eye Exams
Report
According to the American Optometric Association (AOA), infants should have their first comprehensive eye exam at 6 months of age. Children then should receive additional eye exams at 3 years of age, and just before they enter kindergarten or the first grade at about age 5 or 6. For school-aged children, the AOA recommends an eye exam every two years if no vision correction is required.
Special Testing
Report
In our office, you will receive a thorough and detailed assessment to determine your candidacy for laser vision correction. You will have an opportunity to ask any questions that you may have. Our doctor is fully certified and experienced in laser vision correction pre- and post-operative care. We know that laser vision correction is a considerable decision, and your needs and expectations will be taken into account in the evaluation process.
