Back in 1996 while raising my small children, my dear grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease - a debilitating disease which wipes away the person's memory and abilities to the point where they regress back to childhood.My family hired aides to care for my grandmother, but they took advantage of her by stealing from her and abusing her.
