Following a complimentary consultation, you may be offered the opportunity to undergo a comprehensive structural chiropractic examination. Unlike some other chiropractic offices where an exam is superficially done in 10 minutes, this exam will be thorough and performed by Dr. Jones. Please be prepared to dress appropriately for the examination.

Traditional or conventional chiropractors are typically focused on reducing pain, decreasing muscle spasms, and increasing ranges of motion. This is what MOST chiropractors offer in the way of care, and most of them do a great job at what they do. Unlike traditional chiropractors, Dr. Jones focuses on structural correction of the spine to correct underlying structural shifts.

Just as there are many accepted normal measurements for the human body (temperature of 98.6°F, blood pressure of 120/80mmHg, 20/20 vision, etc.), there is also a standard for normal structure. When it comes to normal, we aren't expecting everyone to be perfect. However, if your head is displaced 30mm beyond what is considered acceptable, you have Anterior Head Displacement which may result in Anterior Head Syndrome.
What are Secondary Conditions

At first, minor abnormal shifts of areas of the spine are nothing to worry about. No one has ABSOLUTELY 100% PERFECT alignment. However, there is a range of what is acceptable and what is not, just like those found for normal body temperature, normal weight, or normal blood pressure. If your structural shifts are outside of what is considered to be normal, then you will experience one or more of what we refer to as SECONDARY CONDITIONS.
