Hands down one of the BEST yoga studios I've ever stepped foot in. If we're putting titles on and backing credibility, I'm an advanced practitioner and a yoga teacher myself for nearly 8 years. I've been to a LOT of studios over the years and I can still remember my practice here, as if it was yesterday. This place has something special about it. I have attended yoga classes around the country in studios both big and small. As a yoga teacher myself, I tend to have high expectations for a great experience from both the studio and the teacher. Stone Turtle Yoga embodies the feel of a welcoming place with a community spirit. The owner and teacher, Mariah, goes out of her way to make sure everyone feels comfortable. She leads a well-rounded class, encouraging growth and expansion while simultaneously making students feel comfortable with their pace and how they feel on that given day. Her teaching style is effective within her ability to be

As a Chicagoan I have been to several highly reputable yoga studios, some of which are arguably the best our country has to offer. Stone Turtle Yoga is proof positive that one does not have to venture to the big city to find a professional and welcoming atmosphere in which one may explore their practice in the deepest of ways. Mariah, a former college athlete, brings an intimate knowledge of the body's potential and limits when creating original and creative sequences to meet her students' individual needs. I would recommend Stone Turtle Yoga to seasoned and rookie yogis alike as Mariah
