Amber has been with Utah Addiction Centers since 2019. She has a great passion for helping her community. Amber will invest her time and effort in assisting clients and their families to find answers in these very difficult and turbulent times. Neurofeedback
Report
Neurofeedback, also called EEG Biofeedback, is a way to train brain function. During neurofeedback therapy, the brain learns to function more efficiently. Using advanced technology and software, our clinicians at Utah Addiction Centers use electroencephalogram (EEG) patterns to observe electrical currents of the brain in action.
Emdr
Report
EMDR, also known as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy, is used to relieve psychological distress. When a person is deeply affected by an event, the brain will have a hard time processing it. It is as if the brain becomes like a scratched DVD. It cannot move past that "scratch." Neither time nor wishing will fix it and can cause side effects in other aspects of life.
Gene Therapy

Some medications work great for some, and have zero or adverse reactions for others. We want to know which medications work best for our clients. In order to get the best medications prescribed, Utah Addiction Centers uses gene testing or "pharmacogenetics". Gene testing helps our doctors to understand what the best medications are for our clients by looking at our clients genome.

The Utah Addiction Centers has a long history of supporting and treating US military veterans and emergency responders. We value working with these individuals and consider it an honor to work with them. We contract with Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.) along with other agencies to ensure these heroes needs are met.
