After opening Coffee, Tea and Me in Melrose in 2011, La Qchara owners Lorenzo and Emily Tenreiro were surprised at how popular items such as their homemade empanadas were. It was obvious that the neighborhood wanted more of a good thing, and that's why they opened La Qchara, displaying their passion for Central and South American cuisine.
