Services
Orthopaedic Manual Therapy
Our orthopaedic manual therapy uses hands-on techniques to treat musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. This evidence-based approach addresses joint restrictions, muscle tightness, and soft tissue imbalances through skilled mobilizations and manipulations. Clinicians with FAAOMPT and OCS credentials develop personalized treatment plans to restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall function for patients with acute injuries or chronic conditions.
Functional Movement Assessment
Functional movement assessment identifies movement pattern dysfunctions that contribute to pain or injury. Using Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) protocols, we evaluate how different body regions interact to pinpoint root causes rather than treating isolated symptoms. This systematic approach guides targeted interventions to improve movement quality and prevent recurring injuries through corrective exercise programs.
Sports Performance Training
Sports performance training optimizes athletic capabilities through individualized programs based on movement assessments. Certified strength and conditioning specialists design regimens that address muscular imbalances, enhance sport-specific skills, and improve injury resilience. Using Titleist Performance Institute methods for golf fitness and NASM-PES protocols, we help athletes achieve peak performance while maintaining proper biomechanics and movement efficiency.
Kinesiology Taping
Kinesiology taping applies specialized elastic tape to support muscles and joints while maintaining full range of motion. Certified Rock Docs apply techniques that reduce inflammation, alleviate pain, and improve proprioception. This modality enhances recovery from soft tissue injuries, supports postural correction, and aids in managing chronic conditions like plantar fasciitis by facilitating the body's natural healing processes through neuromuscular re-education.
Chronic Pain Management
Chronic pain management addresses long-term musculoskeletal discomfort through comprehensive evaluation and targeted interventions. Our approach combines manual therapy, movement retraining, and patient education to break pain cycles and restore function. By addressing both physical and psychological factors, we help patients reduce reliance on medications while developing self-management strategies for conditions like persistent back pain, joint degeneration, and nerve-related discomfort.

I've been working with Caesar and Ritchie over the last month due to post op recovery of my right knee and hip. I was seeing another physical therapist but the pain did not seem to subside. Over the past month these two have gotten my pain down to 0, and now are working on me finally getting back to an active lifestyle. Thank you guys for everything looking forward to the continued progression!

I started working with the guys at Plyo a year ago due to a groin injury caused during jiu jitsu practice. They did an amazing job working on my injury and keeping my body healthy. Now with a healthy body we have been doing strength and conditioning training to help me prepare for my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitions. Highly recommend!

I recently finished my second PT experience with Ritchie and Caesar and I cant say enough about them. I had severe pain in my hip and lower back (xrays showed some arthritis) which has been a problem for me for years. Ritchie got to the core of the problem and designed a unique therapy based on how I responded to different types of exercises and stretches. Its about finding the right medicine (exercises) and dosage. I have a daily routine now that I follow on my own and am pain free. These guys are the best.

After almost two years of seeing several back specialists and therapists, both here and in Europe, with little improvement in my pain, a doctor recommended Ritchie. I went to him, even though I live 1.5 hours away, but the drive was so worth it. It took him a few visits to figure out what all the others missed: my back pain originated in the hip. He was able to alleviate my pain considerably, but it got to a point at which he insisted that I got an MRI because I was not responding to treatment. Of course, he was right: I needed surgery. Ritchie doesnt just treat the problem area, but he looks

I'm the owner of Training Grounds Jiu-Jitsu & MMA in westwood. I send ALL of my students here if they get injured. However I send them to Ritchie and Jin not only to heal any injuries to but correct the imbalances in their bodies that cause injuries in the first place. The first time I met RItchie I hadn't been able to look left for three months and always had to sleep on one side. After one session my neck was fine. I"m not saying that will happen all the time but I do know that my students come back quicker and more structurally sound and this is something I have objectively observed over a few

I was beginning to accept my constant back and hip pain from an auto accident several years ago. I had tried massage therapy, acupuncture, other physical therapy, and chiropractic. I'd be fine for a while and then in pain again. I learned about Jin and Ritchie through a good friend and neighbor. Though I've always been resistant to home exercises and cynical about the factory-like atmosphere of most PT centers, I found my experience with PLYO changed that. When I saw the skill and dedication with which they worked- one-on-one for a full hour, I felt committed to work as hard as they do. The results

Ritchie is one of the best there is! We have a Jiu-jitsu school in Westwood and my husband and I are always going and amazed every time at the results. Today after doing decompression therapy for a herniated disk I could barely walk and then one hour later after hobbling into Ritchie's for a PT session I was virtually pain free when walking. These guys know how to help and treat several of our students who are involved in contact sports. Highly recommended!
