By age four, children are developing a better sense of themselves, of what their capablities, talents, and preferences are. They are more verbal and have greatly improved motor skills. They are ready for many activities, discussions, relationships, and challenges. In the senior preschool year, the focus is on stimulation and creativity with lesson plans that embody the children's interests and ideas.
