The wines we craft at Dutton Estate Winery - from our care for the soil to our daily handwork in the vines and the thought we give to harvest, fermentation and blending - express our dedication to our distinctive corner of the Russian River. We are the sixth generation of the Dutton family to farm in Sonoma County.
We are committed to sustainable farming for future generations and elevating the quality of our wine every year. We share our love of the land and our commitment to land preservation through the distinct flavors in the glass. Our family is six generations of forward-thinking Sonoma County farmers. Joe and Tracy's agricultural heritage is deeply rooted in Sonoma County, and wanted that same experience for their three daughters.

Bold red in the glass, the nose wafts of fragrant red fruit, predominantly cherry and plum, which gives way to essences of tobacco and leather. This wine fills the palate and follows through on cherry, plum, and a touch of berry on the finish. A lovely ruby in the glass. This Pinot Noir immediately presents exquisite aromas of cherry, cranberry, white pepper and an edge of sea air.
Chardonnay

Our past is our future with this wine named for Joe's father, Warren Dutton. Warren was a pioneer of Chardonnay in the Russian River Valley and so we honor his commitment to the land with this wine from our oldest vines. The fruit for this wine is harvested from our original Shop Block Chardonnay vineyard, which was planted in 1967-truly history in a bottle!

Kylie's Cuvee is a family designation from our Sisters Selection and named for Joe and Tracy Dutton's middle daughter. The Shop Block Vineyard is known for higher acid fruit, which is softened during the fermentation and aging process. Aromas of pineapple and meadow grass prevail on the nose followed by hints of fresh guava.
Pinot Noir

The wine certainly lives up to the Berry Block name. Tons of fruit leap from the glass in the wine. Fresh Cherry, Strawberry, Blueberry and Boysenberry explode and make this wine one of a kind. Undertones of cherry pipe tobacco and soft leather help give the wine the layers of flavors needed in the special clone selection.
Syrah
Report
Named in honor of Tracy Dutton's father, the vineyard was planted in 2002 with the Syrah Noir Clone in the Santa Rosa Plains in Huichica Loam soil. This vineyard, one of the more than 80 that Dutton Ranch farms, is located in a low-lying elevation site with rolling hills and is the home of Tracy's parents, Paul and Carol.
