Funds have been used in the recent past to support trips and workshops for our Ability Works Activity Program, purchasing assistive technology, creation of new programs, and many other projects. Our caregivers are trained in First Aid and CPR, lifts and equipment, proper techniques, cooking, as well as potential ability-specific scenarios. Quality care is our number one priority. Our staff undergo an extensive paid-training program with scenarios located both in-office and in-the-home.
During in-office training, new staff are joined by a few of our superstar clients who walk them through what it's like to work together, listen, and adapt to someone else's needs and preferences.Provides first level technical assistance and support while possessing the ability to diagnose, isolate and implement solutions related to computer systems, telecom, hardware and software.
