Dr. Paul Maurer founded Keys Eye Care in 1999, moving to Key West after 5 years as one of the busiest eye surgeons in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area. Dr. Maurer's goal is to bring the highest quality medical and surgical eye care to the people of the keys.
Dr. Maurer attained highest honors in medical school at the University of Oklahoma and served his internship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, followed by a three year Ophthalmology residency at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans and at the Charity Hospital of Louisiana, during which he learned the latest techniques for small- incision eye surgery.
