This relatively new addition to the South Jersey food scene - founded by executive chef David Wiederholt - is a top notch butcher shop that also offers fresh seafood and sandwiches. But be sure to try their takeout barbecue selections that would fit perfectly in Tennessee or Texas.

Ribs, brisket, pulled pork and more are slow smoked over an oak fire to mouthwatering results. Hours are subject to change if we sell out of BBQ! Stop by early to guarantee you get your HUGE racks of ribs, 12 hour smoked brisket, honey brined turkey breast and dry rubbed pulled pork! We slow smoke all of our BBQ everyday and try to prepare enough to last the entire day, but we will upon occasion run out of certain items depending on demand.

Ordered the Salmon, crab cakes, brisket, hamburger, chicken sausage and cucumber lemonade. Thumbs up from the entire family. I will definitely be back! Absolutely phenomenal food with exceptional customer service. I highly recommend you support this local business.

My most recent trip could've been marred by a partial piece of the order that was missing however the staff immediately corrected the error and went above and beyond by bringing the order out to me.They called me before I even realized the error occurred. First time trying out the food here tonight and my boyfriend and I thought it was excellent!

We carry a full line of Prime and Choice Meats. Our beef is all Hereford cattle and all AMERICAN raised. We also keep a nice selection of 30 Day Dry Aged beef products in stock for your next occassion. Dry aging is a process that slow ages meat in a humidity and temperature controlled enviroment. It typically takes 14 - 30 plus days (depending on your flavor goals) to reach maximum flavor and tenderness.

Our signature burgers are a blend of Hereford beef brisket, chuck, and flavorful shortrib. It is a blend that gets expensive quick but yield big flavor and exceptional burgers. Chef David has won Burger Brawl Philadelphia 1st Place and Best Burger Philly Magazine with it. Not your adverage burger, most butcher shops and grocery stores just use what ever is left over to make theyre patties.

We can fresh grind veal in, please call ahead for your veal needs as we do not stock a large selection. We also strive to creates some wonderful homemade sausages. The varities will change by season. If there is something special you are looking for just ask and we can try to work it into routine. Great grilled as a sandwich or in some pasta.

If I could rate 6 stars I would. There is no similar bbq like this anywhere near here. It outclasses the label of New Jersey bbq. Every detail of flavor thought out, texture of everything was on point. Amazing cumin heavy bbq sauce. Brisket sandwich, Mac and cheese, fries, coleslaw. Will be back.

Worst expensive chili I have ever tasted. The bbq rub makes it so thick an salty it's not eatable. I can't believe they serve food this disgusting.

Walked in, ordered a sandwich and small fry, cost $24.00. said it'll be right out, waited 10minutes. Didn't even leave the parking lot and opened the fries and they were room temperature, so if I waited 10minutes to eat them at home they'd been cold. Sandwich was also room temperature, 90% positive the sandwich was warmed up in the microwave. Bread was slightly warm but within a few minutes of me pulling it out of the tinfoil bag, the bun started to stale, and the meat , also 99% positive was either a day old or gave me all the burnt/microwaved pieces. 70% of the meat was hard/stale, when you leave

It just wasnt that great. I got the ribeye & brisket & there wasnt any ribeye in it at all & if there was I definitely couldnt tell. It wasnt anything worth getting again.

Update: I did speak with Tim (manager, very nice) and he is taking care of this and refunding me. He apologized and was going to speak with the cook.

Ordered thru door dash at 430pm order never showed up and they won’t answer the phone now at 645. Door dash says they deliver on their own. Ordered about 60$ in food charged for it door dash app says delivered and yet her we are with no food. This business will feel the wrath in the morning. Very poor business deal. I would not suggest perder if from them I know I never will again. They won’t answer phone or refund.

My dad and I love bbq places and wanted to give this a try since we live relatively close. First I would like to say very friendly staff super helpful and polite. We brought our dog, Maggie and we got her the Cadillac of bones. She was to distracted to eat it outside but I am sure she will tear it up later. The food was BOMB! I got the platter with 3 different meats and 2 sides and it was plenty of food. Probs could feed two people. I got two things of ribs and one pulled pork, ribs are my go to but I wanted to also try there pulled pork which was very tasty. For my sides I got the potato salad

I'd like to add my original review was done right in the middle of the pandemic when mask every where were mandatory. I haven't been back since but when I have eaten here prior the food was hit or miss . Sometimes it was awesome and other times it was lacking

My family loves this place - it may be the freshest and most diverse menu in town. Price reflects quantity and quality. Shout out to the new fried pickle recipe, and highly recommend.

Food was disgusting- by the time we got home and opened it they were closed. I've sent several emails and Facebook messages and they will not respond. The meet was dry the pickles were soaked in oil. These pictures and the "pulled pork" and brisket.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, RIBS,beans,collards, chicken tenders, pulled pork, loaded potato, I could go on. This will be my new go to place when I visit family. The young lady at the register was very sweet and helpful. Must note, how clean and organized everything appeared. Me and my picky family enjoyed the food. Prices can be a bit expensive so try to do combination platters

This location never gets my order correct. You pay premium dollar for sub par service and food. I ordered online the bbq brisket sandwich and upgraded to the long roll with shoestring potatoes, lettuce and tomato on it and coleslaw and bbq sauce on the side. Added a side of fries. Order not ready at given pick up time, waited for order to be made, get home which is less than a 1/4 mile, and fries are ice cold, no lettuce, tomato, or shoestring potatoes and no coleslaw or bbq sauce. So paid $18 for a dry naked sandwich and $5-6 for cold fries. Never again So disappointed.

This place is top notch. You can tell all of their dishes are made with care. I get their family BBQ packages all the time. Their sides are amazing especially the brussels sprouts and German potato salad. Candied bacon is my wife's favorite.

Drove up here from Cape may county to have lunch with a friend. We ordered our food and sat down. Waited 10 minutes and i added a few more items and asked for that to go. Was told its all to go and no dine in available. Waited forty minutes for our food to be given to us. Had ordered some fresh sausages and they were placed in a bag under a hot container of mac and cheese and some other items. Overall it was a bad experience and when i mentioned the website states dine in they blew me off. Would expect a butchers market to know not to bag up uncooked foods with hot foods but i guess that is asking

I am a truck driver I was @ the TA truck stop and I ordered food for delivery. I bought the rib platter which was very high for just a little bit of food the delivery took along time and upon receiving my food there were ok barbecue sauce for my ribs the ribs were EXTREMELY DRY! The suspose to be barbecue beans taste like a sweet maple sauce HORRIBLE! That's ridiculous the only thing I can say is the fries were seasoned well I hope this message gets to the owner and he reads all of it and makes sure appropriate measures are taken to where the food is made to expertise people are spending a

So we decided to go for local barbecue instead of a chain so we drove here out of our way.

There were two counter people, one of whom didn't have her nose covered by her mask. So she adjusted her mask, and within the minutes I was at the counter her nose became uncovered again.

Both people in the kitchen were not wearing masks at all.

There's no point talking about the food when masks aren't worn or worn improperly.

My first review was from March of 2018 and things have only changed for the better in Oct of 2019 as if that could be possible!!!!

This place is a hidden secret.
Awesome lobster mac & cheese, hope you like lobster!!!!
Delicious more like our of this world German Potato Salad- one of my favorites.
Bacon is killer- I don't like bacon but at this place it is amazing and worth every bite- taste is savory and sweet. Genius!!!!!
The staff makes you feel like an old time friend and are so welcoming.
I didn't have there philly cheese steak or there burger, but they both looked amazingly

I really want to have this place be stellar and survive.

I offered to pick up a catering tray of baked beans for my coworker since I live closer. I suggested to my husband that we dine in. Last time our sandwiches were soggy about 2 years ago when got take out.

Tonight, my brisket sandwich wasn't very hot in temperature. Good, but not hot. My hubs had the Cajun Ribeye sandwich- too many onions.

The Mac & cheese for our 3 year old was very cheesey and he liked it. I would have needed some pepper on it, I appreciate a mild macaroni & cheese for my child.

BBQ style meat is not a standard in this area so when you find it here it's easy to savor it and want every bite you feast your eyes on. Impossible in one visit, I know.

After sorting through the options, I just trusted my gut, literally and went with their award winning burger: the D & S burger. Topped with an onion, bacon and blue cheese spread. Yes, yes it's good. It's what you'd expect a winner to taste like, but it has two drawbacks. It's small and not on the best bread. Meh, 7 bucks and I felt like it was worth every stupid calorie I'd have work off later

I'm sorry that I have to go against the sea of rave reviews, but I'm not the biggest fan of David & Sons. I'd love to love them, though, and I hope that future experiences are better. But so far, no dice.

I live close by and it's no secret the pickings are slim for quality food in the area -- especially once you branch out past Italian/pizza. So having a barbecue establishment run by a renowned Philly chef a quick drive away is pretty cool. I just wish the food matched the hype.

For my first visit, I ordered an Oreo shake, bacon mac and cheese side, and a chicken bacon

So I decided to stay home on a rainy Friday night to catch a movie and order something good from one of the neighborhood restaurants, when once again my trusty Yelp app brings it home
I was reminded of a local BBQ spot that had reopened after being closed due to a fire. Well let me tell you they've returned with a bang.
Great slowed cook meats and good sides to go along with your brisket, pork, chicken or ribs.

My brisket practically melted in my mouth and the Truffle Fries were delicious. My wife's burger was cooked to perfection and they offer several ptions to top them off.
