Ginkgo Leaf Acupuncture
Acupuncture and herbal medicine are highly effective treatments for numerous different types of pain. There are so many studies showing that it works. Chinese Medicine works on the whole person, addressing not only the physical, but also the mind and emotions. Acupuncture and herbal medicine together can multiply the results of your diet and exercise efforts, because they address the actual root causes of weight gain.

If the diagnosis is spot on, then the results can be amazing. Advanced pulse diagnosis helps to paint a clear picture when combined with other diagnostic methods. This clinic uses five different systems of pulse diagnosis together. The best practitioners don't neglect the 2,000 year old classical texts, which are the foundation of this medicine.

Frequently Asked Questions
Report
For most cases I recommend acupuncture once per week, and taking Chinese herbal medicine at home every day (if it's prescribed). In my experience, once per week acupuncture provides just enough time off between treatments to allow for continual progress with the resolution of your symptoms. If spacing it out to 2 weeks, the results aren't as good, and in some cases could be disappointing.

Report
The feeling of pain is most commonly associated with the disease ( bing) of "impediment" ( bi) in Chinese Medicine, which is a kind of blockage or obstruction of the normal flow of qi and blood throughout the body. When the body's channels are blocked, not only can pain result, but also numbness and other forms of dysfunction.
Weight Loss
Report
Losing weight with Chinese Medicine includes making dietary changes, and exercising. There's no way around it. Those are part of the fundamental theories of Chinese Medicine, and are prescribed as essential aspects of the treatment of obesity and overweight syndromes. Did you know that Chinese Medicine is about much more than acupuncture treatments?
