Electronics recyclers and refurbishers certified by e-Stewards are recognized as having met the highest standards for environmentally safe and secure recycling of electronics. The e-Stewards Standard is the highest standard for globally responsible electronics recycling and reuse. It prohibits the export of hazardous electronic waste from countries -- developed and developing alike -- and insists that viable technology be reused.
