Soar founder Vonda Tackett quickly fell in love with the vacation/short term rental business after the purchase of her own Galveston Island vacation home. She loved that she could enjoy it while there and share it with others when away, making enough money to cover expenses and create a nice return.
Our Team

Vonda is a passionate mother, grandmother, entrepreneur, and photographer. Originally from nearby Houston, she has travelled to Galveston most of her life, rented area vacation homes for nearly 20 years, and eventually purchased several of her own rental properties. Instantly falling in love with the business of vacation rentals, it didn't take long before she founded Soar Vacation Rental Services.
