Services
Lawn Fertilization
Our hybrid fertilization program combines premium slow-release nutrients with organic components like composted poultry litter and sea kelp. This balanced approach feeds both grass and soil microbiology to produce greener, healthier lawns while improving long-term soil quality through increased microbial activity and earthworm populations.
Weed Control
We manage common broadleaf weeds and herbicide-resistant species through targeted treatments. Our multi-application regimens for weeds like wild violets and ground ivy combine traditional herbicides with premium solutions to prevent regrowth while maintaining grass health through carefully calibrated application timing and product selection.
Grub Worm Control
Our PEPP-certified insect control uses Acelepryn to target destructive pests like grubs and chinch bugs. This pollinator-friendly solution protects turf while preserving beneficial insects and earthworms. Treatments include both preventative applications and curative options for existing infestations without requiring immediate watering after application.
Soil Treatments
Proprietary 'Turf Tea' applications introduce beneficial microbes and organic soil conditioners to enhance microbial activity. This natural solution improves soil structure, reduces compaction, and increases nutrient availability through earthworm population growth, providing a sustainable alternative to mechanical core aeration while promoting long-term turf vitality.
Flea Tick Mosquito Control
Our perimeter pest control combines cedar oil and peppermint oil with traditional insecticides to create safe, effective barriers against nuisance pests. This dual-approach treatment targets fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes while maintaining pet safety through reduced chemical exposure, creating more enjoyable outdoor spaces for families and pets.

Im endorsing David, my father, knows what he is talking about. He has lived and breathed lawn care my whole life. Hes also spent many weekends driving his kids around to look at his clients lawns and all I can say is they stood out in the neighborhood as Turf Nerds work.

David & his team at Turf Nerd are the best lawn care professionals we've ever used. They've managed to turn our yard (which would have been a "2" into an almost "10") because of the challenging soil, slope to our yard, shade with all our trees, etc. They are AMAZING! David's knowledge of understanding your lawn is above & beyond. I would jokingly say it's not rocket science, but it is science, and they're GREAT at it! Treating our lawn organically was a huge plus. The customer service is stellar, and we wouldn't trust anyone else. Turf Nerd is the way to go!
