Masks are optional for FULLY vaccinated individuals (but strongly suggested) and required for unvaccinated individuals. No appointments are required but please arrive at least 15 minutes before closing time so that we have enough time to process your materials or you may get turned away.
If the total value of non-ferrous material (copper, wire, scrap aluminum, etc) is over $20, by law we are required to hold your money for those materials for 3 business days unless you have a valid contractor's license or business license.You have the choice to either come back for cash or we can mail you a check.

What to do when you arrive

Upon arrival our employees will assist in finding a parking location. Recyclable materials must be sorted before being accepted. Certain requirements are required; such as glass, where it is sorted by glass color of clear, green, or brown. Plastics are also required to be sorted by each labeled type (PET#1, HDPE#2, or #6).

CRV stands for California Refund Value or California Redemption Value. It's found on most beverage bottles and cans except for milk, hard liquor, wine, vegetable juices over 24 oz., and 100% fruit drinks over 32 oz. The CRV program was started in 1986 as a way to encourage recycling. Soap, food containers, paper juice boxes, and other non-beverage bottles are never subject to CRV.
