Spring Run was incorporated in 1998 under the laws of the State of Florida. Located in Estero, it was one of the fastest selling private golf club communities in the United States from 1999 through 2002 when the community sold out, more than two years ahead of schedule. There are four types of housing units at Spring Run: low-rise condominiums, low rise coach homes, attached villas, and detached villas (single family homes).

Spring Run Golf Course offers six sets of tees, 9 and 18 hole leagues for both men and women, as well as a couples golf league to provide an enjoyable golf experience for players at all levels and interests. The generous fairways and challenging, undulating greens designed by Gordon Lewis are in excellent condition year round.
