On behalf of the club's ownership and staff we truly appreciate the patience and support from the membership while we complete was has become a challenging five month project to renovate our greens. We did not anticipate the length of time members would have to master putting temporary greens, nor did we expect to forgo extra months of operating revenues.
We, all, have remained committed to the club and for the long-term. Starting in May, we began what is the most significant club improvement initiative this century. The decision to replace the original Tift-dwarf Bermuda grass with a more modern Ultra-dwarf Bermuda known as Champion turf triggered what has become a considerable obligation from the club ownership.

Since its inception in 1993, the club has served as the social and recreational centerpiece of the Halifax Plantation Community. The club has earned a reputation for providing the local community and guests a challenging and enjoyable golf course which is consistently maintained in wonderful condition.
Men's Association

The Halifax Plantation Men's Golf Association (HPMGA) is a not-for-profit social organization open to all members of Halifax Plantation Golf Club. The HPMGA supports and promotes a quality competitive golfing experience, while insuring a congenial social experience for all Members. Its purpose is to promote interest in the game of golf within the community and provide a forum for golfers to test their skills in competitive and fun formats.

CJ represents some of the best of what Halifax Plantation Sports has to offer. CJ's roots in tennis began with Bill Riordan, long time manager for Jimmy Connors. Bill provided CJ with a strong tennis foundation that CJ continues to draw from, even today. After graduating from Georgia Southern University, CJ, joined the South Point Tennis Club in Ocean City, Maryland.
