Complete Physical Exam
Report
Our providers at Preventive Medicine believe seeing you once a year for an annual exam is crucial in your overall healthcare maintenance. During this visit your provider is able to give you a thorough check up that may or may not include an EKG, routine blood work, urinalysis, vision test, hearing test etc.
Electrocardiogram EKG
Report
An EKG, also called an electrocardiogram, is a simple and relatively inexpensive test to look at the electrical output of the heart. As the heart beats, it sends out electrical impulses and this impulse is measured and from this we get the heart rate, which can be a sign of your conditioning and/or medical problems like atrial fibrillation, ectopic beats, etc.
Ambulatory BP Monitor ABPM
Report
Your provider may suggest to have this test when your blood pressures are not normal. A blood pressure cuff with a recorder will be worn for 24 hours to take measurements automatically every 15 minutes. You will be asked to keep a diary to note activities when measurements are taken. Keeping the diary will help your provider make decisions concerning treatment.
