Studio B Dance

Studio B Dance Co. was started in 2005 by Brandi Doyle, the owner and artistic director. It was her goal to create an environment both nurturing and creatively and technically challenging. It was, and will always be, a priority to encourage and challenge students of all ages and levels.

The dream began small, out of rented church Pre K room a couple of nights a week, and has grown steadily over the years from a 1 room studio, to a 3 room studio, to our current location in the Village of Liverpool.

This program is the staple of our dance program, which runs from September (after Labor Day) to May/June (schedule varies year to year) with the culmination being our annual recital. This recital gives ALL of our dancers the opportunity to showcase the technique and artistry that they have worked on all year.

Where the love for dance begins! Our Tiny Tutu's class is for ages 2-3, and focus on pre ballet and creative movement. This 45 minute class runs once a week, and introduces our students to proper stretching, the beginning ballet positions and techniques, gross motor skills across the floor, creative movement in the form of free dance, and beginner tumbling!

Our recreational dance program begins at age 6 and offers opportunities for dancers at all ability levels! We offer classes in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and tumbling. Each recreational class is 30 minutes, and can be mixed and matched depending on the students interests.

Our recreational students receive the same great training as our competitive program, with the understanding that their time may be more limited as they have other activities they are also interested in outside of dance.Our recreational students do participate in our annual recital in all classes, and there is a costume fee associated with each class, with the exception of ballet and tumbling, as those are strictly technical classes.

My daughter has been a dancer at Studio B for 8 years now. She was tiny when she started, and a bit of a handful. Brandi was so patient with her, and she ended up learning so many new things. I knew that this studio was going to be a great fit for us! Now, at 9 years old, my daughter has learned so many new skills and has gained new friends, too.
