Genesis Recovery is a state-licensed, nonprofit, faith-based, 12-step drug and alcohol rehab center and treatment program devoted to restoring the lives of men afflicted with the disease of addiction. Our long-term, highly structured, zero tolerance addiction recovery program fosters individual spiritual growth and lasting recovery from problematic drug and alcohol use through the implementation of our Spiritually Therapeutic Treatment Approach.

Our mission is to help restore the lives of individuals who have been broken by the disease of addiction by implementing a Spiritually Therapeutic Treatment Experience that combines faith-based, 12-step and clinical modalities. We provide individualized services specifically designed to meet our residents wherever they may be in their relationship with drugs and/or alcohol.

Our Spiritually Therapeutic Treatment Approach combines four distinct elements we have found to be imperative to achieve lasting sobriety: faith-nurturing activities, clinical treatment, participation in a 12-step program, and the support of a strong recovery & faith community. Faith-Based

By exposing residents consistently to spiritually-focused activities, such as prayer and meditation, bible studies, weekly church service and our bonfire meeting, residents develop their own understanding of, and relationship with, a power greater than themselves.Faith-based recovery allows residents to find meaning in their daily lives, and catalyzes their return to a strong, healthy mind and body.

Clinical

Genesis Recovery provides substance abuse treatment to individuals who desire a new way of life. The program serves 24 medically stable male adults (18 and older) who suffer from the disease of alcohol and drug addiction.
Program goals and objectives of treatment are intended to educate and support an individual through the process of recovery by focusing on the physical, emotional, legal, social and spiritual consequences of alcohol and/or other drug use.Our Christian counselors are licensed and credentialed, and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience when treating individuals from a variety of cultures, backgrounds and addictions.

12-Step Program

The foundations of AA/NA and the 12 steps have been effective for many recovering alcoholics and addicts. It would be difficult to find a therapy or style of intervention more frequently credited for recovery than the 12 steps, but if you are new to the steps, it is helpful to know why they are so powerful.
