The golf shop and restaurant will remain open indoors. All four sizes are available for range ball baskets! Bunker rakes, ball washers, and benches have returned to the course along with the ability to remove flagsticks. Please bring your own water bottles as water coolers are not currently available on the course.

But the core of what makes Metropolitan Golf Links so popular is the layout of the course, a Johnny Miller and Fred Bliss design just East of Oakland International Airport.

Take a Virtual Tour of the CourseThe Metropolitan Golf Links has a compact layout with two balanced nine hole loops that start and end at the clubhouse. The routing of the course includes straight holes, doglegs, and even a couple of double doglegs! The layout boasts subtle mounting, gentle undulation changes, four wetlands areas, and just enough bunkering to add significant strategic interest.

An initial fee of $70 includes that day's senior round. Must be 60 years and older. Sign up next time your at the course and start saving (it pays for itself after 8 rounds!) Our most all-inclusive membership gives you a $10 discount off of rack rates (posted above), plus one-hour early access to Twilight and a special $25 back-nine and Super Twilight rate of just $15 green fees and $20 riding).

The Metropolitan Junior Golf Program is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides the Oakland area with a comprehensive youth golf program. The program is offered to children ages 9-18 at no cost to the families. Our volunteer staff of professional instructors assist in developing every phase of the game.

Years ago, Metropolitan Golf Links began life as a disposal site for dredged material from the San Francisco Bay. Today, it's a first-rate golf facility and a model for the integration of golf and the environment.
