Seeking psychological treatment for yourself or a loved one is an important decision and we are grateful for the opportunity to help. I began Coast Psychological Services 8 years ago to provide mental health services to the community. It was just myself, one office, and a desire to provide quality and scientifically sound treatments for individuals, couples and families.

Since that time the practice has grown in significant and meaningful ways. The technological, social, and global changes we have experienced since I first opened is remarkable. My understanding of supporting the community has also broadened. I've learned that when we work together cooperatively we can achieve great things one step at a time.

Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Director and founder of Coast Psychological Services, Dr. Liana Georgoulis has been studying psychology and working with people since her high school days. A native Angelino raised by immigrant parents, Dr. Liana developed a deep appreciation for people and community from an early age.

At that start of therapy, our clinicians assess their clients' difficulties, discusses their concerns and goals with them, and then provides information about which treatments are likely to be most helpful.Successful therapy is a result of collaboration between the clinician and the patient and it is important for both parties to work together toward the same goals.
