Brian Chapman, originally from Milwaukee, first became a part-time plasterer/painter in 1996 while attending UW-Platteville his sophomore year, this is when he began working with his best friend/man at the time, Dan Emmons. Dan's father, Al Emmons, owned a Plastering company in South Milwaukee where he and Dan would work on weekends and summers when needed.
Brian, would continue to work with this company throughout his college experience (UW-Platteville) from 1994 to 1998. As Dan Emmons left college early (1996), he started his own stucco/plastering company, and when Brian graduated from college in 1998, he ended up working for Dan. Brian eventually left his work with Dan, and ultimately started his first painting company, Chapman's Painting Service in 2002, which he operated until 2011.
