For nearly 40 years Triangle Visions has been dedicated to serving the eye care needs of central North Carolina! We provide state-of-the-art medical care with an attitude of friendly "old-fashioned doctoring." Dr. Chris Glupker, Dr. Tony Clark, Dr. Dee Dee Clark, and Dr. Miller specialize in multiple eye care services including yearly eye exams, contact lenses, ocular disease management, pediatrics and vision therapy.
Eye Exams
Report
In addition to assessing your visual acuity, your eye care provider will test for common eye diseases, assess how your eyes are functioning together, and more. Serious health issues like diabetes and high blood pressure are often first detected during an eye exam. The American Optometric Association (AOA) recommends children have their eyes examined at 6 months old, three years old, at the start of school, and every two years until age 18.
Pediatric Eye Care
Report
Vision develops rapidly starting at birth and is tied to many developmental milestones, such as hand-eye coordination and reading. In the long term, your child's vision will impact how they learn, play, and interact with the world. While there may be some obvious signs of visual disorders, many vision problems can only be detected by a qualified eye doctor during a comprehensive eye exam.
Ortho-K Contacts
Report
What if you could correct your eyesight and reduce your dependence on corrective lenses, all while you sleep? Ortho-k uses specially designed, gas permeable contact lenses to temporarily reshape your cornea while you sleep. The change in the shape of the cornea, as well as the vision correction you experience, will revert when you stop using the lenses.
Therapy & Rehabilitation
Report
The brain is heavily involved in vision, and that is why vision therapy and rehabilitation can be the key to decreasing or eliminating vision symptoms that patients are having. Binocularity - the ability to use the eyes together for single vision and depth perception. Accommodation - the ability to maintain clarity while adjusting from distance vision to near vision.
