I've been bringing my dogs here for 20 years. I first started with my black lab when I lived in Glendale. She was 15.5 yrs old when we had to put her down. They helped us thru that very difficult time and the doctor was wonderful.

I've moved to Pasadena and still my dogs here. They are always super busy but the receptionist is always nice and accommodating. They can't always work us in but they try.

I have using Hollywood animal hospital since 1996 for all of my dogs. When it was sold to VCA all went down the drain. I took my dog for surgery as she needed some cancer masses removed. I only went back because Dr Danielson was still there and she is excellent. Come to find out she has moved and is no longer there. I met her college who so nonchalantly told me that its cancer and get some chemo, very non personal delivery of devastating news to me. I was in a state of panic and wanted them removed asap and therefore scheduled surgery the next day. The care that my dog received from this new

I brought my cat to Hollywood Animal Hospital on an emergency basis; I was a walk-in. I sat in their waiting room with my cat for 3 hours. Apparently, they take the most severe walk-ins first. While I understand that, they did not know how severe my cat was. When I question the wait, and they told me this, I said nobody knows how severe my cat is because nobody has seen her. So they sent an aid to the waiting room to look at my cat. She tapped her nose, she petted her head and said she was stable. It turns out, my cat had an obstruction. An obstruction is life threatening. It turned out they

This VCA hospital's priority is making money not your pet! Almost one thousand dollars because my dog had constipation, I think the vet new it was nothing serious right away, but solicited unnecessary tests and medicine, they play on the fear you have of your pet being sick.

Since VCA has taken over all the "caring" and attention to detail have disappeared. Just left this practice after nearly 30 years.

Worse place to ever take your animal if you love them. The only thing they do is scary you into buying tests you don't need, but they do a very good job at that.
I'm shocked they don't try to sell pregnancy and drug test to your dog, that's the only thing they haven't tried selling me.

I've taken my dogs many times for simple shots and I'm over the BS and lack of compassion this place has for animals.

Horrible service. When I showed up they had me down for my appointment 10 minutes earlier than was confirmed by phone. By the time I did their texting instructions and waited and finally went in they said that we can no longer be seen because we were too late. Their sign out front says text and sit and wait. Very unprofessional. Will not be back.
