The Petaluma Golf and Country Club is a private golf club built in 1922. The club was founded by our initial members and the McNear family who donated the land for the golf course. The clubhouse was designed by Brainard Jones, a famous local architect, whose many fine homes are scattered throughout west Petaluma.

The original nine holes were redesigned during the Great Depression and has enjoyed various enhancement over the years. Our 9-hole golf course offers different tees for the front nine and back nine which creates a variety of shots and different club selections. The rolling hills of Petaluma are prevalent on the golf course which makes the course play tougher than it first appears.

Exclusivity: As a private golf course your tournament players will be more willing to play at a venue that they normally would not be able to play. Flexibility: You can play a 9-Hole Tournament or 18-Hole Tournament. 9-Hole tournaments are growing in popularity as the event takes less time and players and volunteers can get home earlier.
