Since 1960, the Barranco Family and Staff have served the communities of Severna Park, Arnold, Millersville, Pasadena, Glen Burnie, Annapolis and the Eastern Shore. Our Founders, Robert & Catherine Barranco purchased the land in Severna Park, built the Funeral Home, and opened in May of 1960. Over the years all three sons Bob Barranco, Jr., Jim Barranco and John Barranco became funeral directors.

Our Family and Staff will help in every way possible as you honor and celebrate the life of your loved one. Catherine "Kitty" founded Barranco Funeral Home with her husband Robert S. Barranco, Sr. in 1960 and is an Owner and President.

Having a ceremony and allowing the community to share their thoughts and feelings allow you to better understand how the life that was lost was important to others. This is critical to the healing process. Caskets are offered in Wood or Metal. Wood Caskets are available in several species of wood such as Mahogany, Cherry, Pecan, Oak and Poplar.

Having a ceremony and allowing the community to share their thoughts and feelings allow you to better understand how the life that was lost was important to others. This is critical to the healing process. A Cremation Casket or Container is required by the Crematory and provide dignity and enable safe handling for your loved one.
