At both of our Chesapeake child care centers, experienced teachers use hands-on activities to teach children core academic skills that will help them excel in school and throughout life. Children also gain a familiarity with technology through interactive computer exercises and outside resource professionals brought in to teach.

It is with great pride that we offer our services to you and your family. Our original child care facility had a capacity for only 50 children. Within two years, Great Bridge Child Care expanded to be able to support 124 children serving the Great Bridge Primary school district.
Recognizing the growth of the Great Bridge area, in 1985 Karen Colston opened a second location on Fentress Road serving the Butts Road Primary school district, supporting another 137 children.We have remained a large and successful early childhood and after-school program for many years now, and are eager to connect with your family.
