Barton House Playschool is a child-centered, half-day, Christian preschool that welcomes children of any race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin. We are a non-profit corporation, and we are licensed by the Community Care Licensing Division of the California Department of Social Services. Learning involves the process of discovery, and it should be hands-on, active and intrisically motivated.
Meet the Staff

The faculty at Barton House Playschool meets and exceeds state licensing requirements and have been selected for their ability to guide your child through the learning process in a loving and caring way. Each teacher is certified in First Aid and CPR. The low student/teacher ratio meets and exceeds state licensing requirements and allows for an individualized program.

We absolutely adore BHP. After touring multiple schools, there was no doubt that Barton was the place my son was supposed to be. It was quaint, filled with imaginative play setups, and most of all, you could feel the overwhelming amount of love within the school. Our very first week started with a few tears (from both of us) and I have no doubt it will end the same way because of how much we all love the school.
