Walsh Moving & Storage is a full service moving company that has been family owned and operated out of the same building in Torrance since 1964. Dick & Patricia Walsh started Walsh Moving with one truck and a small crew in 1964. Since then, Walsh has been serving Torrance and the surrounding cities. Dick & Patricia Walsh and sons operated Walsh Moving until they retired in 1996, passing the company to her nephews Thomas & Harry.
Pat continued to help in the office with the bookkeeping. Thomas & Harry exceeded Pat's expectations continuing the Walsh name. Walsh Moving dramatically expanded the company by expanding local operations and adding Long Distance moving, then in 1998, purchased a warehouse in Long Beach and began serving the cities of Long Beach and the surrounding area.
