The roots of Ace Iron & Metal go clear back to the 1950s. The owner of Ace, Alan Levine, followed in his father's entrepreneurial footsteps by opening a small junkyard on Donaldson Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. In 1964 Alan's father, Norman Levine, bought Fessman's Auto Wrecking and changed the name of the business to Norman's Auto Wrecking.
