Led by fourth-generation owner Amy Reynolds - a former professional dancer with 15+ years of industry experience - we provide structured pathways from introductory classes to elite competition teams.Our annual Spring Recital at Lake Travis High School showcases student progress through professionally produced performances, while our Team Prep Camp ensures proper placement for competitive programs. Ballet Classes
Our ballet program develops proper technique through barre and center work, with progressive complexity as dancers advance. Students learn classical positions and movements while building foundational skills essential for all dance styles. Pointe classes are available for qualified students with appropriate training and age requirements.
Competition Teams
We offer multiple competitive levels from Itty Bitties (ages 4-6) to elite Company dancers. Teams receive specialized training, attend conventions, and participate in competitions while developing performance skills and teamwork. Auditions ensure proper placement based on skill and readiness.
Lyrical/Contemporary
This style combines ballet and jazz techniques to create emotionally expressive performances. Dancers learn to interpret music lyrics through movement, focusing on fluid transitions and artistic expression while developing strength and flexibility required for advanced dance techniques.
Summer Programs
Our Team Prep Camps prepare dancers for auditions and placement evaluations. These intensive programs focus on technique refinement, audition combinations, and team-building activities to ensure proper placement in competitive programs while maintaining a fun and engaging environment.

We send kids there, because they seem to have good teachers. Yet we can't be 100% sure if the teachers are good or not, as we can't compare with other teachers in other places. But we are definitely sure their front desk and administration is bad. And I mean very bad. Constantly our mails aren't replied, even after one or two more mails. This is about almost any issues, either urgent or non-urgent. They say if we send out on Friday, we'll expect a reply on Tuesday or later, as they don't work in the weekend and replying takes one or two business days. Note that we&apos

Our kid started ballet lessons at WADA as a toddler, and continued for almost 2.5 years. It had begun well, with caring instructors who were very dedicated. But our experience started going downhill around 2017 - especially with frequent instructor changes... to the point that our kid wasn't really learning much, and we eventually dropped out. Also, never felt diversity is encouraged here (their Facebook page and the students they showcase being a testament to that).

West Austin Dance is like family! It's been a second home to both my girls for years. WADA teaches excellent dance technique but also emphasizes team work, commitment, and personal responsibility. Great life lessons that reach far beyond the stage!

My daughter has been at West Austin Dance (WADA, as they refer to it) for just 2 months now and LOVES it! They accepted her last minute due to a recent move and she was so nervous not knowing anyone. The girls and teachers there are so sweet! It is such a family environment where the teacher and students really bond! This studio is more challenging, but my daughter comes home on fire after each class, still excited about what she's learned. Glad we ended up here!!

We have been dancing with WADA since we moved here in 2012. I have been very pleased with the level of technique instruction my dancer has received. They don't just "teach to the routine," as some other studios we have been with have. They are especially great with beginning dancers--starting year 2 with my little! This also marks our 3rd year on the Competition team. Our experience has been great, little drama, and fun all around with dancers and their moms. Id recommend to anyone!

This studio is amazing! Wonderful group of inspiring teachers, amazing class selection and a great environment for your little dancer to spend their time! We have tried several studios over the years in the Austin area and we finally found our dance home! We LOVE WADA!!
