I was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. I hacked it around on the golf course during my early years, but never took the game seriously until I got into the workforce. My wife and I moved to Wisconsin about 20 years ago. When our daughter, Rachel, was born in 2002, I left a successful sales career to become a stay-at-home dad.

Whistling Straits

From the moment you turn onto the property, you know that you are in for something special. Whistling Straits is unlike anything found in Wisconsin, the Midwest, and possibly the entire country. As you enter the clubhouse, you feel like you have transported to another part of the world. As the host of three PGA Championships and the future host of the 2020 Ryder Cup, The Straits Course receives most of the fanfare at Whistling Straits.
Erin Hills

Most of the world was introduced to Erin Hills Golf Course during the 2017 U.S. Open, won by Brooks Koepka. This championship course is just part of the total Erin Hills experience. Staying on property in the Main Lodge or a 4-bedroom cottage creates lasting memories. There's also the Drumlin putting course and the very unique Caddie Barn, open to the public at the end of each day.
Sand Valley

Unless you have been living under a rock somewhere, you have at least heard about a project called Sand Valley Resort in north central Wisconsin. But until you actually see it with your own two eyes, you don't really understand what all the fuss is about. The short version of the Sand Valley history: Sand Valley Resort is owned by Mike Keiser, the same visionary who created Bandon Dunes in Oregon.
