Founded by Jules Dostie in 1947, the tradition of exacting standards and complete customer satisfaction has been passed from father to son and has now extended into a third generation. We are all aware that gold is a yellow metal, in fact pure gold is an intense golden color. White gold is the result of this pure rich yellow metal alloyed (most commonly) with nickel. For some people with metal allergies the nickle can cause a discoloration or irritation of the skin. In some exceptionally rare instances, designers will use a white gold alloy that does not contain nickel but has been alloyed with palladium.
