I had Winchip come to fix my garage door opener the technician took it apart and put it back together and it worked I asked him what was wrong with it and he said he didn’t know but it works now so I paid him $155.15 plus tip and asked him if it had a warranty and he told me if anything happens to it just give us a call and we’ll come back and fix it free for one year well that one year warranty wasn’t good for two days I called several times over the next week and left messages each time and know one ever returned my calls I’ve had winchip over two other times before to fix broken door

Tired of dealing with the same problem, after it is supposedly fixed and I have paid for another "repair" visit. We had an opener installed by them, and I've had more problems with it than I can count. I recently realized that I have now spent more in service fees than a new door opener would cost. It consistently starts acting up after the 30 day warranty on the latest repair has expired. Lesson learned now; will find someone else to actually fix it rather than ensure another visit for themselves. Should have done so sooner.
