Hangry's was born because we, Chad Edwards and Marian Bittner, wanted a way to work together. We wanted to implement Marian's creativity with food, as well as make good use of the experience that she earned at the Culinary Institute of America. Our dream was to serve familiar but interesting and delicious food.
First, we tried a couple of ideas for a sit-down restaurant that didn't pan out. After that, Chad began to research food trucks. After much conversation while sitting on the sofa together throughout the long winter nights of 2015, we settled on a local food truck builder. Food trucks were a completely different dynamic than the restaurants that Marian had previously owned and/or been a Chef at.
