Mixing & Mastering
Precision mixing and mastering using analog-digital hybrid workflows. Engineers apply EQ, compression, and stereo enhancement for radio-ready tracks. Services start at $125 per song, with bulk pricing available. Masters optimized for streaming, vinyl, and broadcast platforms to ensure sonic consistency across formats.
Podcast Recording
Full-service podcast recording in acoustically-treated booths. Specializing in voice-over work, interviews, and multi-host shows. Over 40 years in music as producer, engineer, and educator. Founded JAMBOX in 1989, Reach Out Inc. in 1989, and AET Audio Engineering Course. Collaborated with Cyndi Lauper, Marc Anthony, and Brass Construction. Developed The Gift Of Song service and 4Sight Music Productions.

Can beginners use JAMBOX studios?
Yes! Our studios cater to all skill levels from novice musicians to industry professionals. We offer educational programs and youth development initiatives, including hands-on recording sessions for school groups.
How much does mastering cost?
Mastering starts at $125 per song (up to 5 minutes). Bulk pricing: 3-song package for $300, 5-song EP for $450, and full LPs from $700–$1,000 depending on track count and format requirements.
Are tours available for students?
We offer studio tours for Jr. High to college students. Tours include live recording demonstrations, equipment education, and a group recording session where each participant receives their own audio file.

This is the place to be if you want to record your music . I took my daughter there yesterday she was nervous to start. Mr. lee was very friendly and broke every step down to us about the studio and he was my 15 year daughter had the best music engineer there shout out too Bill we were all please.

Found Jambox Stdio after an online search for "transfer of LP to digital file." (I had a 1961 private label recording of my sister singing folk songs, and wanted to transfer it to share with family who'd never heard it). Lee Evans and Cathy Palmisano were helpful and patient explaining process and cost. I couldn't be happier with the excellent result. They were curious, generous and kind in their enthusiasm for the material I brought,. I was given samples of edited vs. unedited sound to make an informed choice. I see from other reviews that Jambox is a treasure to people who know what's involved

If you want a musical haven to record your best sounds, go to JAMBOX. Lee and Cathy make you feel comfortable right away and offer a personalized experience that is not often found in the jungle of NYC. I've used JAMBOX three times and each time I was supported by the best sound engineers, latest equipment, good pricing and a creative ambience that enabled me to do my BEST WORK! Highly recommend JAMBOX - now go and break a leg!
