She received her Bachelors in Nursing from Clemson University. After working as a NICU nurse for several years, she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She then joined her father, Dr. David Owings, in his dental practice. Dr. Sam is the proud mom of Bentley and Emily, enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family and attending Clemson football games.
