My Mom moved into Sherwood Village in February 2021. She really likes living there. She says the staff is very friendly and all the residents are too. She feels very safe and not alone. They went above and beyond to make her room feel like home. I am so grateful to Jennie and all the staff for welcoming my mom into their family.

My father stayed here for almost 5 years. The current management is wonderful with Patti as head nurse. She bends over backwards to care for the residents. I specified current management because there were some really sparse years when they couldn't keep a nurse for more than 6 months and the care really suffered. The facility is being updated and looking better. The rooms are larger than most providing a lot of value for your money.

My Mom was here for 5 years and LOVED IT!!! Staff is caring, room is larger than any other assisted living in the area and the price is exceptional when you consider other places. The staff cares for their residents like family. It's an older building, but improvements are continually being made.

I just noticed a bad review for Sherwood for a legal issue. Seems odd to me that someone would think it a bad thing that Sherwood would protect the rights of their residents. Sherwood staff are a great bunch of people. They are a family, not just employees. Years back I placed my 90 year old grandmother there and she lived to be 100. She loved it there and thrived. The staff cared for her like family, even sitting by her side at the end. We are now moving my father-in-law into Sherwood. I am excited for him to be more active and create new relationships.
